Lol like there was barely any outrage. It was made into a memeable joke online, no one was bringing out the pitchforks. Keaton was clearly apologizing because he felt actually bad he messed the title up. I think you're more outraged over the near non-existent outrage than anything, which is usually what ends up

Sounds like he genuinely felt bad for mixing the titles up of movies staring his respected peers.

I didn't see any outrage. It got made into a meme for godsake. The gaff happened several times that night and social media made fun of it.

Yes and no. It was the announcer of the actual award getting the title half-conflated with another black starring movie and being one of several to do it in front of the actors that night. He clearly doesn't feel like it's an over-reaction. He seems like a good guy.

That was genuinely a lovely apology. Makes me think really well of Keaton for being so good about listening and empathizing. Keaton is a better person than a good amount of people in this comments section.

Boy that black leather jacket is getting around these days. Selina Kyle on Gotham, Rosa Diaz on Brooklyn Nine Nine, and now here. Is All Saints giving them out to costume departments like free candy lately?

I need Mr. F to make a return. Please please pretty please for british eyes only?

This is what I'm saying. There is no standard for beauty or attraction. There is only a media perpetuated idea of what it thinks the standard should be.

Same goes for weight and hair color and facial features I'd wager.

Nope. Not even so bad it's good. Just a total waste of time.

If Johnny Depp as an actor were still working hard and making interesting, meaningful movies, it wouldn't matter so much about him claiming number one spot again. Sometimes great movies don't make money, because the general movie-going public is often stupid and vapid. But Depp is near completely at zero-fucks-given

The fact that Dior haven't dropped his ass yet is appalling. Why would they want that associated with their brand?

He's insufferable, but phone it in for a paycheck he does not, I will give him that much.

You're sourcing TMZ? With an article that contains the sentence "A source close to Beverly says", the phrase most often invoked by baseless gossip mags who actually have no real source what-so-ever.

So we're just ignoring the part that says Americans prefer white people and act like all that list is just innate in humans' preferences bullhonkey?

Everyone working in Hollywood has benefited from the system. It's a machine and everyone involved with it in one way or another are the cogs.
That doesn't mean you can't criticise the crooked and unfair industry you participate in. Actresses get rich in Hollywood, but experience tons of sexism from higher ups. PoC get

It's pretty clear he's grouping actors/directors/producers/creatives against investors/executives/studio heads/money makers here. I would imagine him and his friends fall into the former category.
And I mean he's not wrong. It's people like Trump would tell actresses they're too old to be love interests at 33 and don't

Reporting on someone's industry insider observation on a current event is loving them now?

Seth MacFarlane? He's always been mega liberal. His actual views and personality strike me as pretty at odds with much of his comedy seeing as he's pretty active in anti racism and feminist causes.

Same. Fury Road rocked our world, then left through the open window during the night. We will never truly leave an action movie satisfied again and that is a fact we will have to accept.
