The last time the A.V. Club posted about this film, I noticed a shocking amount of people don’t realize that Renfield pre-dates Guillermo. Just out here to remind people that this character has been around for awhile. In fact, Guillermo is a play on Renfield. Not the other way around.

I know this because I haven’t been

I might be in the minority here but I would probably add the Dark Knight Rises to the list. It suffers the same problems as Godfather III, uninterested director, lazy production values and placing the quality supporting cast in the backseat.

Probably raised in a barn with all the other primitives.

Something must be wrong with you. You should try again.

Which is Alderaan, so that’s especially stinging.

Cara Dune died on the way back to her home planet.

Here’s the thing, Jedis are stupid.

I am old, and I have watched a lot of TV. The choice to turn the last three episodes of BOB into a fully different (even if related) series is still the weirdest TV related decision I have ever seen. I am still fascinated by it. The creative team must have REALLY hated the initial output from BOB as they were shooting

It makes me happy knowing bigots can’t enjoy a fucking thing anymore.

Similarly, Garfield creator Jim Davis went on a disturbing, hate-filled rant about Mondays in a recent strip, which he then followed-up with an effusive essay about his favorite food lasagna.

Nah, Paper Boi clearly said he wanted a ‘Nando’s’ on set, and Earn messed up again.

That’s surprising. He’s got a solid reputation as a proper professional and a likable guy.

Did someone try taking his beskar armor?

They weren’t from Mad God - Tippett Studio made original creatures for this episode and did the stop-motion at the end! In Johnson’s twitter thread about this episode he even said some of the close-up shots of the hands moving the creatures are Tippett instead of Nolte. So cool.

My pitch:

Shelob: She-Boss. A LOTR prequel about a young female spider pressured by her conservative parents to get married and instead she sets out on her own.

This is a good idea, I see no problems, and it will definitely work out.

Terrific episode. I wondered if Lyonne had co-written and directed it just as an excuse to work with Nick Nolte. Who was quite poignant here. Lyonne directed the heck out of this episode; it felt like a 1970s horror movie, or maybe giallo. I especially liked the zooming in on people’s faces and closeups. The final

Shennanigans. Mando will either be good, or not. It won’t be “less” because Andor was great. Boba Fett wasn’t “less” because Andor was great, it was just shitty.

Was anyone else kind of hoping for an exchange like this?
