Not surprised Melissa Villaseñor is leaving, she was bizarrely underused but it’s been a crowded cast. Mmaybe she’ll find her own path post-SNL, like Jenny Slate has. Sometimes it’s just no the right fit.

Don’t Worry Darling is one scrappy, can do tale of indie filmmaker stick-to-it-tiveness.  I mean, have you heard about the studio that produced it? They can only afford to release two movies the rest of the year, and actually shelved one of them. Talk about a mom and pop operation.

As hindsight intensifies, the idea that ‘Blur vs. Oasis’ was, or could ever have been, a meaningful thing becomes ever more ridiculous. I hold no torch for Britpop, which coarsened pop culture (and culture in general) in the UK immeasurably, but the fact that it provided a pupa for Gorillaz redeems it somewhat.

I’ll go one step further, it’s the best Star Wars film out of both pre/se-quels, and 3rd best overall.

It’s imperfect, but by FAR the best of the Sequel Trilogy. It was unexpected, beautiful, frustrating, thrilling, and, you know, we’re still talking about it. When was the last time anyone mentioned Rise of the Skywalker or whatever the fuck?

Sheryl Lee is such an underrated actress. Her anguish was so palpable in this film, and she completely succeeded playing an entirely different character in The Return. She deserves a far better career than she’s had.

THEIR DEATHS WERE NOT “UNTIMELY”. THEY HAPPENED PRECISELY ON SCHEDULE.

it’s perhaps inevitable that Stallone would venture beyond his niche, and leap into the commercially thriving realm of the superhero movie.

This felt like half an episode - 23 minutes then that’s it! Booooooo!

Tim Roth is back and we get a very nicely-done smoothing over the cracks that brings The Incredible Hulk (back?) into canon! Yeeeyyyyy!

Emil Blonksy has a bit of Trevor Slattery about him now, which...I kind of like?

Halfway through this episode I started questioning just how they were reconciling the timing of this show vis-à-vis Shang-Chi’s guest appearances by both Abomination and still injured Bruce. I’m happy to see it wasn’t some weird oversight. Now there’s just the question of how he’s been getting out. Could be that Wong

One one hand, they brought on Tuca and Bertie, which I am super grateful for. On the other hand, the animation quality of adult-targeted shows like Harley Quinn has noticeably decreased, which makes me nervous about the future of this beloved genre.

I’ve really enjoyed it and certainly hope there will be more, especially to see the rest of Dream’s arc with storylines like Season of Mist, A Game of You, Brief Lives and the Kindly Ones.

Literally one of the top three non-cinema adaptations of any DC/Vertigo property ever made. If they aren’t picking this one up — why bother making any more at all...?

Can we somehow request Batgirl from The Library of Congress as well?

As much as I love Buffy and even with all the Whedon drama, would still call it one of my favorite shows, this does not make me sad. I’m not glad for it either. I’m really more like, “Probably for the best.” 🤷‍♀️

They show a man in a suit walking down the hallway, we don’t see his face. He sits down at the table and we pan up to reveal: The Squat Cobbler!

I am just enjoying the fact that my mind is savouring the whole of the series as opposed to feeling sad it’s over. I’m still thinking about it. I absolutely loved it. It was monumental. For me, it absolutely surpassed its parent series and that was clear early on. I’ve yet to watch any episode twice, but I will be

For those unaware, some volumes of the comic are just collections of one-shot stories, and I’d been wondering how or if the show was going to handle them. This is the perfect way to do it, and since both of them are from volume 3 after the show’s first season adapted 1 and 2, it looks well that we’ll also get the

I’ve really enjoyed the series overall and just got to the final episode when the news of this one came out, so that was very welcome!

But like all television characters, Guillermo is a fictional person played by Harvey Guillén...”
