knew it was coming from the moment he stepped outside too, but that didn't make it any less powerful imo. the shot of his body floating face down in the pool is some haunting stuff

last I heard they’ve been tapped to direct the whole second season of Loki, so they’re definitely going on the MCU rollercoaster. I couldn't be happier, they're phenomenal filmmakers
absolutely fantastic episode. maybe moment for moment the funniest of the whole show behind North of the Border, and still had plenty of real shit to boot (I didn’t catch until my second watch the significance of the picture Earn and Van were staring at; a far worse show would have telegraphed that to hell and back,…
that and Travis Barker’s got me pretty good this morning. damn.
yes, I was thinking all throughout how great their chemistry was before it occurred to me we’ve almost never seen their characters interact before, except for Darius’ brief cameo in the Drake episode. more of this pairing, please
this seems more like stunt casting than anything else, and I’m a solid Gosling fan. if it truly was for the part of the fishing boat dude, the actor in the episode did a tremendous job, so this not working out was definitely for the best
Zazie is the best part of this show. magnetic performer, I’m all for her becoming the lead of this show
one of those actors who elevates everything they’re in just by sheer dedication. he’s incredible as a serial killer in one of the best X-Files episodes, Paper Hearts
90% sure he’ll be reverting to Marc Spector and an American accent within the first few episodes, they’re just leaning super hard on Grant in the previews to preserve some mystery
six seasons and a reboot!
the last 3 songs on this is an absolutely superlative run of music. some of the best hip-hop I’ve heard in quite a long time
this shit is gonna fucking rip
this season was fantastic. you may not be the target audience anymore
they literally did that, he was kicked out of the band immediately and they didn’t replace him. tbh it got a lot more interesting musically after they booted him anyway
that show struck an absolute goldmine with its writers, actors and cinematographers. I certainly hope it becomes a bigger influence on the TV landscape (especially when people realise it’s much better than Breaking Bad) but I’m worried it’s lightning in a bottle
Segel and Smulders were always the heart of that show. I mean, it helps that they were playing the only characters who weren’t objectively awful borderline sociopaths. but their performances often just went above and beyond what they needed to do for this silly network show and became something really heartfelt.…
cool! I like it tho
his delivery of “I’ll just put this over here with the rest of the fire” should be preserved in a museum, honestly
he seems to be insanely talented at setting an atmosphere and having likable, engaging characters, but actual story progression is not in his wheelhouse. House of the Devil works because the vibes are immaculate (and the kind of movies it’s homaging don’t really rely on airtight plot anyway), but The Innkeepers just…
her fanbase is here to stay at this point and received both albums rapturously (rightly so; they were good as hell, especially Petals for Armor). definitely sucks she couldn’t tour, but I’m pretty sure she’ll keep doing solo stuff when and if she has the time and inspiration - she’s not gonna just give up and go back…
