new BROCKHAMPTON is really good, it has a couple year-best songs on it

mid-quality metal bands are gonna get so many good album covers out of this
Legion-level weirdness is really the only way a Moon Knight show could work and it sounds fucking fantastic
not really, 808s & Heartbreak came out a year earlier and was a pretty clear sign of mental issues. also it was about a music video so the style of music is pretty irrelevant here.
aight but Kanye was right though. stupid way and time to express it, no doubt, but that’s been Kanye since the beginning - but he’s still right. everybody remembers the Single Ladies video and I have no idea what song Taylor even won for.
there were times when I could have impeeeeached hiiiim...
Tyler, the Creator’s “Colossus” is a good one, a very Tyler twist on “Stan”
very excited for whatever Benson & Moorhead do next, those guys are terrific
Bucky 100% knows what Steve is about to do in that scene, he nods and says (I’m paraphrasing from memory) something like “I’ll miss you Steve”
I get your point, but reusing ideas is kind of a worrying sign, whether or not the majority of people know that the idea has been reused. My concern is that everything post-Dr Horrible has kind of felt like Joss writing a parody of himself rather than just writing, anyway, so this doesn’t fill me with confidence...…
it’s worth it! second last episode of the first season is where you start to see what the show can really do
I’d highly recommend Halt and Catch Fire. the first season is awful, after that it became one of the best dramas on TV, and all four leads including Pace are absolutely magnificent in their roles
I’d love to see him revisit Thranduil in the context of a show that’s not, you know, utterly terrible. he really was fantastically cast in that role
“Anna Devlin is playing Primrose Chattaway (this is the shit we’re here for!), a 16-year-old who just wants to be a normal girl, but happens to be 10 feet tall”
I’d put “Another Love Song” and “Six Shooter” down there with the worst songs QOTSA have put on an album, they’re useless and genuinely pretty annoying. then there’s ones like “Gonna Leave You”, “Do It Again” and (don’t kill me here) “Go With the Flow” - these aren’t bad but they still feel like filler on an album…
Rated R and Like Clockwork are both better, Songs for the Deaf has a solid glut of pretty useless songs along with the classics
One Hot Minute is so much better than its reputation suggests. great album
I mean, understandable. Weaver in a Fisk-tier villain role for one of those shows could have been absolutely goddamn tremendous - unfortunately, with the benefit of our 20/20 hindsight, we see that Daredevil S1 was basically a fluke and they never recaptured it
she was the head honcho villain for maybe 5-6 episodes of The Defenders? during which time she did such stuff as, uh, making speeches and getting stabbed and stuff
I’d be worried the movies would ruin her by totally misunderstanding her character and/or ignoring her backstory and reducing her to a set of tropes and cliches. not that big budget movies ever do that, right?
