I remember this hunt, in 2012. That’s the one that got investigatated in Zimbabwe, right? Because the people of Zimbabwe didn’t get anything out of it, and the safari guides were South Africans who had maybe, maybe not bought permits to hunt in Zimbabwe.

The claim that big game hunting funds conservation efforts is largely a myth perpetuated by the big game industry. Something like 2-4% of the money hunters pay goes to conservation or to the local communities. The rest just passes from one rich, blood-thirsty asshole to other rich assholes.

I have no problem with hunting in general. I do have a problem with traveling to Africa and killing a fucking leopard for fun.

It is not a good idea for people to eat leopards, other large hunter and even cats and dogs. I can’t remember why to be honest but my father the biologist is obsessed with food born diseases and  has spent too much energy stressing to me that you shouldn’t eat anything at the same place on the food chain.

I don’t think people eat leopard meat. From what I’ve heard large cats aren’t very tasty or nutritious.

Travelling to another continent to hunt animals, and weekending at your country home to engage in hunting, are not ‘common’ activities.

The only things that really stood out to me were his terrible grammar and punctuation, his lame sense of humor, and the fact he’s registered on so many different forums. It’s pretty funny, but not very incriminating.

Yeah, and the money Trump wasted on the hunting expedition would probably have fed the villagers for a long time - a lot longer than the leopard carcass. If Trump wants to feed people, go work in a slaughterhouse where he can enjoy killing an animal AND actually feed many people at the same time. Leave the wild…
