I believe I wrote 'Ford's father-bot'. Obviously it's not really his father.

We were shown the host replica of his father, and that's him in the picture. And the person-sized gap to his right is too obvious to have been unintentional.

He didn't even replace Arnold with Ford's father-bot, there is very clearly space for a third person to the right (the father-bot's left), Bernard just saw nothing instead of what I'm starting to unfortunately capitulate to- Arnold, who Bernard is probably modeled after.

I am unfortunately starting to go there myself.

Now that we know about Bernard, if you go back and look at the scene when Ford shows him the picture, it's VERY obvious from the framing of the pic that there's supposed to be a third person standing to the right of Ford's father-bot, Bernard just can't see him. At this point, I'm afraid that some of the crackpot…

That would have been great if the tops of their heads were cut off.

Even more telling, it's also an anagram for 'Balder Owner', or 'Warned Rob El'.

Now that we know about Bernard, the gap in the picture is totally obvious.

I think that one can go either way, and ultimately doesn't affect the outcome.
