Choosing to believe that Sam Waterston’s new look is for a Law & Order reunion movie, where Jack McCoy, having lost reelection as D.A., is living in an isolated cabin upstate. Mike Logan comes to visit and beg him to go back to work — an old case of his and Lennie’s is being reopened, and their names are being dragged…
I’m not actually worried. I just love him and want to be close to him. I thought this could be my in.
I am a little worried about Sam Waterston. I will quit my job to be his caretaker.
See, that was the thing. It was just supposed to be one last job. Just one. Enough to hit that big final score and then retire to sunny beaches where the cute girls brought you fruity drinks with too many umbrellas sticking out of them.

“He’s been paid more than $10.5 million by the federal government to do all that.”

I imagine it’s not easy for him to talk about this, and good on him for talking about it, regardless of who his family is an how much of a prick the ‘patriarch’ of it is.
When Jep says, “I don’t know what’s in Josh’s heart” it seems to me that’s he is possibly referring to Josh being be abused.
The lack of sympathy words for the Duggar victims, and only general sympathy for the family. I hate it when people say “how sad for the family” and nothing about the actual four molested sisters.
It sucks that men are stigmatized into not talking about their experiences with being sexually assaulted by women because they’re expected to enjoy it. Good on him for sharing his story. His opinion about the Duggars though...
That sucks. He seems pretty clear-eyed about it, and I give him props for talking about it in such a way. I think this is especially hard for men to do.
