You definitely nailed it. She’s not all offscreen - she’s been on a few episodes and played by Shelley Long. And it’s 100% going to be her.

I thought the same thing, and that’s when I watch it too. The early seasons still make me LOL but the more recent ones are kind of blah. I’m betting on it being the Shelley Long character.

I don’t watch it, but “significantly” is significantly different than “main”. The dog, the mother (is she all offscreen?), the chubby kids real dad, a school teacher. Think of a tertiary recurring character and that’s it.

He hasn’t “been accused.” He plead guilty. He shared videos of it. It happened. You don’t need to hedge your bets here. She just added a song to her album that is a collaboration with a man admitted in court to having sexual contact with a 13 year old girl and sharing videos of it.

There’s plenty of ways for a parent to be abusive that aren’t technically illegal.

To be honest I don’t believe she did as this didn’t come out when she filed against him for abuse. Instead it’s coming out when he’s completely in debt, a drug addled mess, and proven to be untrustworthy when it comes to his word.

This is why McConnell et al have sat on their hands while Trump runs roughshod over the constitution and rule of law. They want to control the Supreme Court and lower courts. I don't know how much Trump has broken America in the short term, but the long game McConnell is playing has been paying off. 

This is a saddening dose of reality. Even if the blue wave sweeps out Trump and the GOP, we’ll still be fucked for years to come because we have a Supreme Court that will gladly rule on the side of sexism, bigotry, and racism.
