Maybe it’s just New Zealand is lagging (again). Sometimes we’re a testing bed for new tech but mostly we’re a season behind.

Not true. I bought a PS4 Pro and I got a choice of which game I wanted (all but the very newest games). I could have had Doom, Deus X, Mafia 3 etc.

I’m hoping the positive reviews from the Tomb Raider Pro support will make their approach standard. I like the 60fps mode but mostly play the down sampled 4k mode on my 1080p.

I completely agree. ‘Pro’ was a poor choice and I wonder whether this was a cultural/language misstep. Nearly any other suffix (platinum, S, X, Blue, Premium or even PS4k) would have played better. 

The problem I have is HDR simply isn’t rolling out to small displays. if you want a 40" 4k HDR TV then you have a very small choice, and forget about OLED and Quantum Dot. Time of course will change this but I don’t need a 65" screen in my life.

I bought one and i’m pretty happy with it. And I got to choose a free game with it too so the costs was minimised a little.

I am completely amazed at how much coverage this release is getting.

Of course this is all subjective but if they are pushing these to design literate professionals then all the neon colours and OTT logo are a bad choice.
