I think you can put most starting QB’s behind the Dallas O-line and they’re going to look pretty good. Not saying Dak won’t be the bomb...but doubt we’d be talking about him much without a GREAT O-line in front of him. If Cleveland had picked him, he’d probably be considered another failed QB Browns pick.

Nothing really wrong with that letter - granted if I worked there, I’d probably not think much of it either way. By and large - Starbucks workers seem as happy, or moreso, than other service industry workers.

Cardinal fan here, so not like I want Heyward to succeed somewhere else (much less as a Cub) - BUT, I think much like a pitcher’s mechanics getting out of whack, that’s all that is wrong with JayHey right now. Last year in the playoffs (as short-lived as they were) - he was our best hitter. He went oppo taco on

As far as colleges go...I can say this...I did a college promotional tour back in the day for 3 semesters. We went to 20 schools a semester...so 60 total. Spent 3 days in the campus quad at each. Every school has hot chicks and they’re all about the same. The only exceptions I found were Arizona State and Florida.

Not many players average 31 HR, 104 RBI & 30+ doubles/year. He averages 4.5 errors a year in LF I believe but will throw out 10+ runners. Pretty sure most teams will take that. Apparently my team (Cardinals) wouldn’t but they gotta be reconsidering after missing out (thank god) on the guy who’s now riding the pine

As a Cardinals fan who said they should sign Cespedes a year ago...now’s your chance to make up for last year’s mistake. You dodged the $200+mil bullet in Heyward...buck up $150mil for 5 years and give us a legit 3-hole hitter!

Asking this question for real...as I hadn’t given team names/logo’s all that much thought in the past. So is it fine that teams are named the Whatevercity Indians or Fighting Sioux or whatever as long as they don’t have silly mascots/cartoonish logos depicting stereotypes (red skin, etc.)?

I disagree. He got a double with nobody on, struck out twice and walked (more by being fooled and not being able to pull the trigger than by his razor sharp eye). Not saying I wouldn’t have started him as well - just saying, it’s not worth writing an article about just yet. Let’s see how he fares the rest of the

Exactly right! Or a FG counts as 1 and a TD is 2. And yeah, I’d start from the 40 instead of the 25...that way a big defensive stop or stop for a loss and you potentially hold them to nothing vs almost an assured FG.

Not a good teen. Just a dude looking to knock someone out...and then claim he’s justified. But I don’t really care...just saying...anyone suck punching someone unless they’re molesting their sister or something - is not really justified.

I don’t understand your statement - ”Brown is an excellent kicker, but an inherently marginal player,” - are you marginalizing all kickers?! Seattle and Arizona strongly disagree!

The have explosive speed, understand how to do ankle pics, leg snatches, arm drags, etc. from close range. Their lightning quick with fakes, stutter starts, etc. which is what this sport seems to be all about. Not to mention it’s not like you’re out here open field tackling guys...I’d take a wrestler who can hip

Seems like a group of 20 college wrestlers would have fared much better, no?

I used to get my fireworks at a place called Molly Brown’s. Buy 2 get 1 free on bottle rockets!

Doesn’t really matter as Cleveland is going to pull the championship sweep. Basketball, baseball and foot...oh wait...nevermind!

There wasn’t a single one of us Cardinal fans who thought we’d win after that catch!

Can we all not agree that these things are tough either way. We never want to victim blame and erring on that side is the right thing to do...but in a society that is innocent until proven guilty...it’s hard to not want to stick up for the accused sometimes when the facts don’t seem to be adding up. For the most

And the ATL...I like watching the ATL right now!

Lighten up Francis!

Agreed. Stern’s a good dude...playing a part. Anyone who actually listens to him can see he’s pretty genuine and very likeable. Robyn wouldn’t put up with his sexism if it were real.
