And it’s still not funny. Cards fans don’t care because they’ll still probably make the playoffs since the rest of the NL is so bad. And if they don’t...they’ll probably be right back there next year. But yeah, the Cardinals aren’t very good this year...we already know this.

Yeah I’d assume so too. I hate the rule...but I get it. I think like with many NHL rules...they make it with no grey area to start and then they’ll eventually tweak it. The Blues have had I believe 3 called back now in the playoffs...and it is an excitement killer (expecially when it’s your team)!

My bigger issue is what happens if the play stays in the zone for 2 minutes. What if during that 2 minutes there’s a delayed penalty and its egrigious and a game misconduct...but ultimately the team scores. The other team challenges and it’s deemed offsides. No goal! So no penalty either? No game misconduct? Do we

Wrong! Adore live is incredible. Yes...the studio album made on a drum machine came out lame...but in concert it’s among their best stuff. And I’m not talking about Ave Adore the only song with any radio play. Listen to Tear, Behold the Nightmare, For Martha, Blank Page...all awesome live!

Most 4th line players are career minus players. His job is not to score. His whole line’s job isn’t to score - it’s to buy time for the rest of the team, create energy and (if you’re a good 4th line) be able to play against any of the opposing team’s lines. That’s why good teams roll 4 lines and teams that aren’t so

This isn’t homerism from a Blues fan...though I am a huge fan. Reaves is a tremendous 4th line player. Not sure what you’re watching, but he’s a great skater and punishing hitter. Not many (maybe any) guys in this league are that big and that fast. His ability to cycle the puck and maintain control along the boards

He was a good hitter...but roids made him better because of the improved bat speed. Bat speed is huge because you can wait longer on the pitch to see if offspeed or not...hence you can’t be fooled very often. This was something he didn’t have ‘til the roids. Again - great ball player - just wish he would’ve left well

Actually HGH apparently DOES improve eyesight...so there’s another reason that big cheater should only be known as Cheater McCheaterson who could have been a Hall of Famer but is now just a Hall of Shamer because being an already great player just wasn’t good enough!

Yeah...but he already knew how to put his bat on the ball. PED’s ABSOLUTELY were a huge advantage to Bonds. They allow you to wait on pitches longer because your bat speed is that much quicker. That’s the biggest advantage...and then yes, balls can go further (less of an advantage as most HR’s are HR’s either way).

I don’t give a sh!t since I stay up late and get up early...my only issue was what the bar I was watching at was going to do if STL/CHI had gone another OT or so. They have to get everyone out by 1:15am I think! If that happens any game...then I’ll be back here bitching!

I love the late starts (but understand why everyone else doesn’t). I put my kids in their PJ’s, read ‘em a story and run down the street to the local bar just in time for the puck to drop! Don’t have to feel guilty that I’m watching hockey instead of doing something with wife & kids...don’t change a thing NHL!!

I know Dana can be a douche and I know there are lots of things messed up wiht MMA and the UFC (like the whole uniform thing)...but Conor’s being asked to do what every fighter before him has had to do. Those who haven’t (only 1 apparently - Nick Diaz) were also pulled from their fight. It’s part of the deal

Now playing

Cheesy video...but I’ll still take Rick Ankiel’s 2 throws in the same game...at the 2:10 mark

They don’t really give him shit. They barely booed him. You have to act mad when a good player goes to your main rival. Media likes to make it bigger than that...but I assure you it’s not. By the end of the game they had given him two pretty good hands actually for the couple of nice catches he made.

Unless it’s some big group cheer or they’re flashing it on the jumbotron, I’m not sure why it should be a story anyway. Some redneck yells a racist comment at a black athlete...hardly newsworthy. It would be more newsworthy if that redneck didn’t pass out in his seat prior to the 5th inning and spill Busch beer all

But the Blues, for the most part, are at least always good and fun to watch (until they let you down in the playoffs). The Cubs on the other hand...

We’ll see. Everyone is doubting them due to their recent early exits...and understandably so. But they did lose to the eventual cup winner in 4 of those 5 years I believe...so part playoff failure but also part bad match-ups. Much better team this year though. Completely healthy (all 9 forwards have now only played 7

It was almost more of a fluke that we didn’t score earlier in the game when we had the wide open net and it hit off the hawks dman’s skate!

Actually the Blues get a lot of hits because they typically spend a lot more time in the offensive zone cycling the puck down low and hitting the other teams’ d-men. That’s their game...it’s not goony. It’s put the pressure on, play more of the game in their end and try to capitalize on turnovers. Chicago’s D is not

Jon Jones...your F’ing rich. Stop driving yourself at least until you retire!!
