I saw this at the 2017 or 2018 NYIAS (frankly can’t remember). Honestly thought Acura had a winner on their hands, but I haven’t seen a single one in public. Haven’t even seen one at a dealership.

I knew I’ve seen Giugiaro do this style of off-road sports car before. The Italdesign Parcour (before he left Italdesign) which was basically the same thing, but with a facelifted Gallardo’s 5.2L V10:
These wheels are interesting, I’ve never seen them on a 1 Series. Are they original?
Why does this weigh 4,116 lbs.? What the hell Volvo? Why is this platform SO heavy? The S60 Polestar Engineered is similarly portly at over 4200 lbs...
$750? That’s optimistic. Try $1,000.
“Sierra TRD Pro” - Justin, what exactly is this model?
I’m convinced they don’t want to relive the ELR flop. That and their product planners (Cadillac’s anyway) are some of the worst in the industry with product teams that are totally out of touch with luxury consumers.
While it won’t hit Joe Walsh-speed, it will do 171
Delicious. It’s even got the turbine wheels!
Maybe if they made a decent fucking car, they wouldn’t be tired of “hearing our shit.” Honestly, the nerve of this guy.
AHHH UNIVERSE ENDS. No worries, any V12 Aston is a good Aston.
FYI, a Gen 1 Vanquish featured in Die Another Day. A Gen 2 DBS featured in Casino Royale (2006) and Quantum of Solace (2008) which is the last time one was featured in a Bond movie.
Incorrect, the DBS was last featured in Quantum of Solace in the opening chase scene.
I’ve always wondered this, but it still looks cheap and unfinshed. At least make the damn thing black so nobody notices.
I’m aware it’s the noun, but would be better served as two distinct sentences.
So uh, this sentence makes it seem like the V60 invented the seatbelt and not Volvo. Just saying.
Yes that’s what it was, valve guides. The M62/N63 had timing chain issues.
N62 is a crapcan.
I really like these 550 M Sports as they’re rare in stick form and, in my eye, a bit better looking than the M5 of the same generation. The issue, and it’s really the elephant in the room, is the N62 V8. Lifelong BMW guy here and I’ll be the first to say that BMW can’t make an engine that isn’t a straight 6 to save…
All this reminds me of is the unforgivable 2003-2004 Chrysler ad campaign where Celine Dion was their spokesperson. I had no idea Celine’s version was a cover:
