My main gripe with all old Audis, besides reliability foibles, is that Volkswagen Group does not have any kind of classic parts support. There’s a reason why you see a plethora of old Benzes and BMWs around and only the occasional 12+ year old Audi. VW just doesn’t care to make a classic parts business. That and, as

Ignoring my earlier post, I want this GIF for the rest of time:

I just want this gif all of the time:

Probably not, but internal (Italian-side) politics at FCA decided to change platforms. What confuses me is why the Ghibli/Levante rides on a totally different platform from the Alfa stuff. That should all be modular and the drive trains should be similar (the F160 V6 TT in the Ghibli/Levante/Quattroporte has no

Yeah that’s pretty much what I’m saying. You had a bunch of ex-458 guys and Ferrari engineers do the chassis/drive train work on the car... They’re not aching to have someone drop a Hemi in their work (not that it normally matters, but we are talking about an Italian car company here).

That plan was scrapped per Mergio’s ever-changing 5 year plan for FCA. New plan, if you can believe this, is to refresh again for 2019 and redesign completely onto the Maserati Ghibli’s platform.

This car is SO pointless is hurts me. It’s nearly the same as the X1 in terms of cargo capacity and is identical under the skin. It’s redundant and it’s stupid. While it may print money, it’s obnoxious to ask $50k for this ridiculous thing.

Since when is Volvo affordable? Volvo’s have been moving upmarket for some time now and have, since the mid-80s with the introduction of the 740, positioned themselves as a luxury carmaker. Hell, their current tagline is, “Our idea of luxury.”

Don’t even bother with the SportShift II cars. They’re trash transmissions and jerky. Never understood why they didn’t just give this thing the 6-Speed ZF Transaxle from the DB9 (given it was just a DB9 with several inches lopped out of the middle). I’ve heard rumors that the DB9 trans didn’t fit, but that doesn’t

There’s an available mechanical LSD as a port-installed option for the M240 and 340.

Totally agree, also dumping the inline 6 into it helped quite a bit.

I know the dealer selling this car. Extremely tidy example.

GERRY WIEGERT I BESEECH YOU!!!!!!

Yeah, but this is the goofy looking 2000 CS. The 2800 and 3.0 CS models are where it’s at!

Well that’s a Ford so...

Have friends at Cadillac corporate. 4.2 is built at Bowling Green because it’s the only GM plant that hand builds engines which Caddy wanted for exlusivity reasons on the CT6. As of right now, there are no plans for this to go into an MR Cadillac product.

I can understand, but such is The Twilight Zone universe that is the year 2018. Believe me, it’s weird.

So I don’t get what point you’re trying to make here. The current Mustang GT is a good car. This has a little extra since you’re getting a bit more power and a bit more style than a standard GT.

Welcome to 2018. Cars are expensive now, such is inflation. The average transaction price across the auto industry is $34,500 for a new car. That’s the average!

Honestly, I think the biggest question here is:
