Thank you for your explanation, I’ve just stuck with OEM since my 3 series gets used for train station duty most days. May I yell the word “STRANGEGUN!!!!” at random? The username is fantastic.

That Cobra is asking itself, “What the hell man?!?”
It took me forever to realize that these graphics are the equivalent of some shmuck scribbling a highlighter back and forth on a piece of paper. Remarkable.
Have heard of some mixed reviews with EBC’s “___stuff” pads - BMW guys have complained of residue getting stuck to (and subsequently ruining) the rotor surface. Not sure if it’s true since I’ve never used them, but some guys swear by them and others swear at them.
Glad the police officer is alive. Very lucky man.
I’ve seen one of these in person - that interior is just absolutely hideous.
Also, these symbols/buttons look like Playmobile toys.
Obvious BMW ploy is obvious. However, there’s absolutely no reason this shouldn’t just be in a straight line. Is there some advantage to doing this?
Worth the read - truly the worst auto ad campaign of the 2000s:
Everything about the name makes sense, but why the Z?
The car is beautifully executed, but something about the ‘74 RSR-style front end with the ‘69-’73 rear end doesn’t work for me. The front clip and rear clip are both beautiful in their own respects, but don’t belong on the same car. Yes, strange to say that I know, but it just doesn’t look right. I feel like if they…
Kind of reminds me of a bigger version of the late 90’s Honda EV Plus - Honda’s first attempt at a true mass-market EV.
The pricing on this car is all wrong. The weird pricing, weird segment size, no direct competitors, marginzaling the CTS, etc. all reeks of old-fashioned GM mismanagement. What’s the endgame for this car? Why not just go above and beyond on the interior (in terms of quality and materials) and charge the same god damn…
1st Gear:
This car is exceptionally 90s
Seller was upfront about rust near the windshield and other places where it’s penetrated through completely. I LOVE E9s, but the battle with rust on these is soo tough.
Fat chance actually buying that E9 2800 CS for $9k and not having a complete pile of Bavarian rust. Values on decent 2800s and 3.0s are in the high $30k’s to low $40k’s - and that’s the low end of the market. Have been watching it for years.
Amen to that
This may be the first concept tractor I’ve ever seen!
