Thank you for that! I meant the V12 Eldorado...

Can you verify the third point here? A Pontiac Corvair? What a twist!
One does not conduct better activities in the back of the new Maybach S600. One arrives at an opulent location and then conducts said activities.
Jesus H. Christ that's a 250 SWB. One of my favorites!
No not in the least, the basic Mk IV Golf platform is solid, but the theme is interesting. Would just make more sense to me to do this to an R32 or something to that effect.
For perhaps another vehicle like a 993 or 996 911 then yes. Not for this Beetle. One man's tribute does not a $38k MkIV Golf in Drag make...
I drive a supercharged M3 and a 3 Series. A Mini and an Aston Martin as well. The back end won't be sliding around on a FWD car without heaping masses of lift-off oversteer (something the Beetle doesn't really do). It's not making fun of, it's factual - the car has nice aesthetic touches, but the price is crazy and…
Makes perfect sense - Sloan's pricing is insane. Way way way above market value.
Oh and do let me know when wider rear wheels on a FWD vehicle make any performance sense whatsoever.
Not offhand - the guy had the dyno results when I saw it in person about a year ago. Sadly, I don't remember the results. That said - what the hell is the deal with wider wheels on the back of a FWD car??
Hardly a high horse, it's a neat idea, but it's priced in the stratosphere.
I've actually seen this car in person at my local cars and coffee up in New Canaan, CT about a year ago or so. It didn't make any sense back then and it still doesn't now. At the end of the day it's a Beetle with some crap on it.
Caffeine & Carburetors! Great show - R129s are genuinely elegant machines with a build quality second to none.
If nothing else, this film should be remembered for starting Paul Neman's successful racing career, but there's also some fantastic Indy 500 footage here as well.
Chrysler needed a car to compete against Ford in international Group 4 rallying, so Lotus took the front-wheel drive Sunbeam 1.6 GLS, put their 2 liter 16V slant four in it bored to 2172 cc with two twin-choke Dell'Orto carburetors, added a stiffer suspension, a larger anti-roll bar and a larger transmission tunnel…
I would swear that back clip is 1st Gen Touareg.
Tav - you mentioned both Pirellis and Continentals for the 3K GT. Aren't mismatched tires a massive no no on AWD cars? I would think the different grip levels and available traction might screw with the transfer case/AWD electronics?
NUNEZ!!!!!
