What I do is ask for a second empty bucket, then pour some of the popcorn into the empty bucket, butter it, pour more popcorn on top of that and then butter it, and continue this until it’s filled, and then put more butter on top. Ask them to fill it up halfway. Butter popcorn. Fill it up the rest of the way. Some places may be too busy and say no, but it’s never been a problem for me.
