I’ve been playing since launch and I’m pretty sure like 90% of the NPC quest lines bugged on me. I’m loving the game but it’s frustrating.

Could be, but I think the lighting effect just makes it more noticeable at night.
Ahh cosplay, or some say cosmplay.
I’ve found they rarely do the charge unless you’re at their rear. Stick to the sides and it’s way more manageable. I still avoid em though. :D
I dismount or accidentally crouch constantly while I’m death-gripping my controller in the middle of a fight.
Serves you right for stabbing the cowering man. Have mercy Tarnished.
I was wondering what triggered the rune boost effect. I’ve noticed it occasionally, but have never used a fowl foot. I thought it was killing the gold eye enemies.
This is the way to do it. Damage scaling effects are pretty negligible at low weapon and stat levels, so get the minimum stats for your preferred weapon and focus your early levels on pumping up your health.
Souls players all hate dogs and crows. In Bloodborne they trolled us with crow-headed dogs and dog-headed crows. This time they scaled the dogs and crows 300% bigger.
Once I got the timing for the mounted attacks down (heavy swings back in a wind up, and then forward) I appreciated Torrent so much more. I wish you could interact with him more.
I played 14 up through all of Heavensward and can remember almost nothing about the narrative. I think that 7R is the best they’ve done in years, no question. Although calling it coherent by the time the ending arrives is generous. It is essentially a prologue though, so I think that’s quite forgivable.
One of the most common complaints, even in positive reviews, is that the story goes off the rails and doesn’t have a cohesive narrative overall.
How did he do it? A perfect combination of Mountain Dew and mozzarella. Just the right amount of grease on the joystick.
Maybe Sonic’s go-cart is foot-powered like Fred Flintstone’s car.
No bonus content? That’s a shame. That extra dungeon was actually a fun challenge.
Basically, yes. DS3's intro was the same way; a brief introduction each Lord of Cinder, who are the games required bosses.
“But beware, secrets are secrets for a reason.
And some do not wish to see them uncovered.
Especially when the secrets are particularly unseemly…”

I would assume the company heads prefer a crap excuse that gives them the bare minimum plausible deniability to outright telling the world they employ some serious creeps, likely at multiples levels and departments.
