don’t want to drop the “H” bomb right away, gotta make them ask.
And now he’s advertised to the world about how his kid had lice. I’m sure the kid’s schoolmates will be nothing but kind and understanding of the situation.
Seems like a good idea. I’m not a scientist, but is it possible that a 4-year-old ball might have aged to the point where it’s not a valid comparison any more though?
When I saw this article I knew this exact hot take would be here.
Nah it’s got to be Rosenthal, since he can’t write for Fox anymore.
It better be soon. Perry is aging VERY quickly.
You guys missed the obvious reason home plate doesn’t need to be raised. At the other bases (except first, for batters), the runner needs to remain on the base to be safe. At home, once he touches the plate, he scores - no need to hold possession.
I’m not going to subject my ears to Chris Russo and listen to the whole interview, but Manfred’s quote above basically just denies that MLB ordered the ball to be juiced. I do believe that. There are others - Alan Porter, Adrian Johnson. Not necessarily saying that’s enough.
Not positive but I think I remember Katie defending Horowitz during an interview a few months back. I think she & Bill Simmons both loved the guy.
First time I’ve ever felt sorry for a Yankee.
Does anyone else find it weird how poorly the Cubs, especially Maddon, seem to have dressed there? Seems like it might’ve been some sort of statement. Good for them, I guess, but too bad they showed up at all.
You forgot to list “Scooter would go home” on your list. Usually before “the game would be over”.
and he couldn’t even be bothered to spell Samer’s last name right.
Curt Schilling led the majors in fewest BB/9 in 2002, so this checks out.
