Asking a fast food restaurant to cut your burger in half should be a felony.
That information is actually right on the receipt, usually.
I placed my reservation 2 years after they announced it. I was invited back in August (way too unexpected). I canceled because I really didn’t plan to buy it at all. I just wanted to see the wait time. I suspect there are a lot of people like me. Especially since the price of the truck more than doubled since the annou…
Those numbers just don’t line up at all. Let’s say they had a million deposits/reservations. That’s 1 in every 300 Americans. Now figure that half of America has pretty much ruled out an EV, at least for now. And at least half of those those that would consider an EV won’t consider a Tesla and/or think the CT is a…
I was one of the morons that put a deposit on one of these pieces of garbage. I took the refund when it became apparent that Muskrat wouldn’t hold the initially promised price, and the quality was going to shit. Then he went all nazi.
No matter what it looked like at the intro, the performance per dollar was amazing…
it’s wholly possible that they had 1-2 million reservations
There are definitely already cybertrucks sold in Canada. There are a couple driving around downtown Vancouver, BC that I see regularly.
Some of them probably thought it was going to come out at some low price that Elmo promised
It’s also feasible to believe that this “million” number was purposefully inflated as a stock price manipulator, as Musk is wont to do.
It’s the ugliest truck, with the tiniest bed, with the most problems... what’s not to like?
it’s wholly possible that they had 1-2 million reservations, and people started cancelling them as soon as they saw what a donkey of a car it is. then musk turning into a raging nazi took care of whatever other reservations were left and not delivered on.
If you told me there were only 30k people in the US who actually wanted one of these enough to buy one, I would believe you. The downside of such a controversial design and high price point is that the market base is pretty limited, especially with how unlikeable Elon is these days.
Most of them were never really serious. The reservation fee was refundable
What happened to the other 973,000 reservations? 1 million reservations is an impressive number, the 97.3% of them canceling before getting the vehicle is even more impressive, in a bad way.
He was 220 lbs before but when rescued without the other two he was 300 lbs...
But where’d he get water? You can only last a few days without water.
“Built to survive stranded for 2 months” is essentially my body type. My ancestors did a fantastic job tailoring our lineage to survive food scarcity and tough times. My body is so fucking efficient at packing away every stray calorie for a rainy day that basically an apocalyptic event is my only shot at a six-pack.…
Here is a quick but honest coverage of how Mr. Musk got to be so wealthy:
