Recall that the 737 Max was notquickly grounded” by the FAA while other nations did so. The incidents happened during Donald The Criminal’s administration:

They never should have been allowed to dodge them in the first place.  Now the government is over here like "oh man, we let them get away with shady stuff without any real consequences, and now they're doing it AGAIN?!?" like that didn't happen with the insurance companies, the banks, the automakers, the oil

A guy drove one by the bar I was hanging out at the other day and someone shouted at him “You can’t park that thing here!” sarcastically.

Luckily with the leak occurring in Galveston Bay, the spilled oil improved the overall water quality.

yes, but pointing and laughing is definitely ok

They remind me of a test vehicle that is trying to hide the real truck under it during testing.

No matter what you think of the truck or anyone who buys them, yelling profanities at him, giving the guy the finger and spitting on/scratching his property makes you as bad if not worse of a person.

No, that was another Tesla Truck owner in New England, Nantucket I think? Can’t be bothered to look now, but that was also profiled on Jalopnik recently.

Saw one in the Costco parking lot yesterday. They look so much worse in person.

Yeah, and tied with the oh-so-coincidental fact that he’s a business owner, color me suspicious.

He genuinely doesn’t seem like a bad person or anything - it just sounds like he thought it looked neat so he bought one. I disagree with him, but I feel for him a little bit. Having people fuck with your car is always gross and awful.

Whether he wants to admit it or not, buying this monstrosity IS an attention seeking move.

Now playing

Rather than the sadly-obnoxious two-hour video with broken and annoying audio included here, here’s a link to the 30 seconds of footage that matter:

Counterpoint: fuck sovereign citizen chuds who feel like they don’t have to contribute anything to society. If you’re stupid enough to get grifted by Trump or libertarians, I have no sympathy

We can laugh at this, but “sovereign citizenry” is at its heart a grift on the same level as peddling nonsense cures for autism.

You are going to have to give me some examples here, otherwise this is just vague. I would bet they probably follow rules, but find loopholes rather than just saying they don’t need to comply with the rules. That is unfortunately, maybe frowned upon, but completely legal way to get by.

literally sitting here researching imposter syndrome for a presentation at work, and I am completely convinced there is a 100% inverse relationship between intelligence, and confidence in one’s intelligence.

Dunning-Kruger in full effect.

The few sovereign citizens I have met share a common trait. The unearned confidence of an imbecile.
