100% agree.

Now playing

I hope the video below posts. This is the crossing at Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. This is a VERY busy area filled with thousands of people visiting. Add in alcohol in the evening and you have a tragedy in the waiting.

Or...hear me out..

Exactly. If you operate (drive) a train long enough you WILL kill someone.

Except that this area is both a tourist and local hangout.  There are thousands of people walking there right now that have no idea a train doing 80 mph will pass through multiple times per day.

This kind of shit is EXACTLY why I bought an EV.

I have been talking about the Atlantic Avenue location since this service started. This area is HEAVILY traveled by pedestrians due to dozens of restaurants and bars on either side of the tracks. Pedestrians may cross the tracks north or south of the actual road. Drunk pedestrians may wonder down the tracks. In short,

The EV weighs 5,8xx pounds.

The merchants HATE spring break.

I have to frequently adjust it, I’m married.  ;-)

Agree.

100% this.

I’m talking sweet spot from a commuting stand point, in the US 75% of drivers cover 35 miles or less per day. Source: GM when they designed the Volt.

I’m saying High Performance PHEVs developed for London getting only 10 EV miles don’t make sense for the US where 35 EV miles is really the sweet spot.

You’re right, the 3rd gen CTS aged pretty well.

No. Only the 1st gen CTS-V had the axle hopping issue.

Use case is an excellent point.

When I hear tungsten I think of the HIMARS missiles that carry tungsten berries which are dispersed very rapidly when the missile explodes overhead and pierces whatever is so unlucky to be targeted below.

According to numbers I found the median pay for a traveling LPN is 64k, so half paid more, half paid less. I still fail to see how a fresh out of school LPN in Oklahoma is earning 10% above the median.

This story doesn’t make sense.
