Yes, they are vacuum operated.  Today they could use electric servos.

I don’t understand why they didn’t add a cowl cover like the Corvette had from 68-72. It would have been cool and achieved a better looking result plus you could have two wipers.

My mom had one of this with a 5 speed manual. There was nothing sporty about it.

I can’t imagine how much time the setup for filming in a stop motion fashion added to the actual time of the physical repair. Now add in the actual editing of the stop motion itself into coherent actions. Then putting all that together into a feature film length movie?

I can’t stop looking at high res of the wiper.  HOLY FUCK!

What is up with this site constantly editorializing every EV story as if it is 2009?

This commercial is rad.

There have been a lot of stilted EV articles on Jalopnik the last few months. It seems like the Editor/Owner is pushing a position.

While I agree with the vast majority of what you wrote, The Little Mermaid was actually well done and it was one of the only live actions remakes that I liked.

You make a good point. The 12v battery is charged from the drive pack. However, the car needs to be ON in order for the charge to happen. The car can’t be ON without 12v power.

Crumple zones. That is the issue right now that very few people are talking about. I’m convinced part of the delay is due to stainless steel fenders turning into giant blade and slicing through things instead of crumpling.

My family is huge into Halloween going back to the 70's. I do a haunted driveway each year.

I believe that the Lyriq and Blazer use the same 102 kwh battery pack riding on the same BEV3 platform. I’m not sure how they’re going to deliver more of EITHER vehicle as it stands now.

That’s the one.
