Saw the movie with my family and came in with low expectations because all of the live action movies have been dull.

Fellow South Florida Man, here. I’ve seen two of these (or knock-offs) in garages in my neighborhood of 500 homes. They are toys for runs near home of to the beach.

Does if function like the Chevy Volt did? For example, when it has battery charge does it STAY in battery mode until it runs out or switch it to regular hybrid mode?

The vehicles are basically the same underneath with visible design being the difference.
I’ve had two cars with it. Once you drive it for a week your eyes get used to the fact that it is a screen and NOT a mirror.

The reliance on cameras also explains why Teslas crash into stationary objects that have flashing lights on the side of the road, like firetrucks or ambulances.
