I don’t think “conservatives” have figured out social media so much as social media is being used by certain actors to make it look like conservatives have figured out social media. Bots, fake followers, echo chambers, these are tools designed to make a small faction seem much larger than it is, especially when you’re

People called him a fascist because he literally called for ethnic cleansing. The left’s “marketing and messaging” are only garbage because we have a garbage media that’s more concerned about “both sides” than actually fighting fascism and authority.

The guys on your side are out there wearing swastikas and rooting for the police killing unarmed people. If you don’t want to feel marginalized by calling yourself a conservative, you need to clean your house.

You mean like when the White host of “The Apprentice” called president Obama a racist?

1. So?

The first amendment protects you from the government interfering with or arresting you for the words you say known as “protected” speech. It sadly does not protect Jemele Hill from ESPN should they choose to fire her over this.

The President and his administration can comment on private matters as much as they want.

I keep seeing “63 million people voted for him, so...” so, what, was that a threat? A sign of moral decay? I don’t see how people saying there are millions of people voting for a racist monster is supposed to remove the monstrous racism.

Meh, I don’t agree.

Calling trump, a public figure, a racist is not anywhere near defamatory.

Our country has moved so far to the right that people who openly call themselves “conservatives” are basically authoritarians.

Anyone who ever loved you was wrong.

The reason the “IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!” argument is a bad one is that if that racial slur is an accident, he should have lost his job for being fucking bad at it, not for racism.

Dumb racists or just dumb, either way I would not want that person working for me.

“Racist” is a terrible, hateful slur against white people. Probably worse than chink!

Takeaway: There are some dumb MFers at ESPN. Seriously, one person can’t see the difference between the Lin incident (which involved an unwarranted racial slur - that might have been an accident, sure) and a label (supremacist) ostensibly based on a person’s actual past activities?

However, I don’t remember Obama or the WH saying about it.

Hank Williams jr was removed from Monday Night Football for comparing Obama to Hitler. However, I don’t remember Obama or the WH saying about it.

Linda Cohn...
