Door ajar, door locked, check engine, battery, and oil lights. KPH speedo even though the scenery looks very American. Also, despite all of the idiot lights, there’s no airbag light from the aftermarket steering wheel.

First I saw the picture, then I read the headline. I didn’t even need to read the author line to know that it was Orlove.

So, you don’t like Mr. Regular, yet you are the first person to comment on a post about him. Nice.

I’m going to go ahead and assume that the gigantic washer fluid reservoir is also a Canadian thing.

I distinctly remember seeing a Streetka on multiple occasions driving around the DC area when I was a teenager. This was over 10 years ago so I don’t remember what kind of plates it had, but I think they were diplomat plates.  I wonder how the hell the owner was able to get it here. Did they drive it from a Latin

You do realize that it would cost more taxpayer money to execute them than to keep them in jail for a lifetime, right?

I had the game for Genesis, but it was disappointingly just a platformer with no car driving aspect.

I had one of those! It was legit my favorite toy for a couple of years. As I recall, there was also cartoon tie-in on TV, too.

I have some real problems with this. I’m biracial (black mom, white dad) but I often pass for white, even though it is never my intention to do so. I also identify as black - would you demand a DNA test from me? Or would you only require that I present you a picture of mom for you to give me the time of day?

Really sad to hear this. When he was still in the DC area, he lived right down the street from my parents’ house. The man was in great shape - even into his early 80's he would walk/jog a mile twice a day. I thought that was strange when I was a kid, but it made sense once I realized he was keeping himself ready for

He was shot by a 54 year-old white male, you asshole.

I’m an engineer, and that was not what I expected. At all.

Needed one of these.

There are plenty of other sites for you to get boring auto news. I personally come here for equal parts car news and entertainment - perhaps you’re not the target audience.

I’m pretty sure a well balanced 5-cylinder is smoother than a 4-cylinder because the powerstrokes overlap (a cylinder fires every 144 degrees vs every 180 degrees), so there’s no instantaneous gap in power delivery between ignitions. This is most noticeable at lower rpms/idle.

Honda doesn’t sell to rental companies so that makes sense.

Elevenses!!

Not if it were a manual - then the brake lights would most likely not be illuminated during reversing.

I know more than one hit and run victim who was able to catch the perp because their front plate came loose from the collision and was left at the scene. I’ve also heard of front plates leaving a legible imprint on a bumper, leading to arrests.
