I know more than one hit and run victim who was able to catch the perp because their front plate came loose from the collision and was left at the scene. I’ve also heard of front plates leaving a legible imprint on a bumper, leading to arrests.

The car was designed as hybrid, and was optimized a such. Why pick THIS particular platform to gut and stuff a V8 into? It just seems crude and likely to end up as a misleadingly interesting looking car with a bunch of compromises.

I think we’re mostly in agree as far as the causative force of the rotation. However, I would contest that this would also happen if the center of mass were at the rear of the car, except that the axis of rotation would also be at rear.

Are you suggesting that the back of the car lifted? Because the center of mass is closer to the front on this car, so if the front rotated to its orientation in the picture, then it would have had to have rotated around a different axis. I felt the same way about both cars when I first saw pictures, but both look much better to me in person and have grown on me.

I clicked solely to see someone post a Canada scene from South Park. I wasn’t disappointed.

Fun fact: In Maryland, it’s explicitly legal to pass on the right, but discouraged. I guess they just gave up and gave people an out.
