Finally, someone that actually gets it. HamNo and the other union knobslobbers around here want to act like unions can operate just like they did in your granddad’s day and expect you to gladly sign on and be happy for the opportunity for someone else to tell you what, when, and how to do your job. Unions need to be

I don’t trust the electric company at all - but the original report says that they had no knowledge that there was a medical issue going on.

Terrible. At the same time tho, maybe dont fuck around on paying bills when your life depends on it. Electricity companies arnt charities

This is awful. Why didn’t someone give her a fucking extension cord to plug into the neighbor’s?

It’s very simple. In order for unions to remain relevant they need to innovate and provide services that offer true value-add to employees and their families beyond collective bargaining.

They need to offer services and benefits that they can’t get from just working for their employer.

Services such as:

because I can guarantee you that they’ll put the army out to force people back to their work.

Good thing she's in no way responsible for his actions. "I don't fucking know" is a perfectly appropriate and justified response to such a question.

STOP

why does her response matter, though? why are we holding her accountable and pressing her on the actions of a shitty man?

that was just her way of saying she’s too good for the bus.

Honestly, Combat and theme about the only thing resembling Destiny. But RPG Shooters pre-date Destiny. Same with Sci-Fi theme. I found loot system closer to Division, class system closer to Warframe, and a Travel system that is better than Destiny. Strongholds look to be longer than Destiny’s strikes (though we only

I’m with you on this. I don’t see a Destiny resemblance at all. I remember when Borderlands 2 was all the rage and Destiny was set to come out and people were all like, “Just like Borderlands but made by the people who made Halo.” This game looks fun because it seems like everyone actually has a role to play. That’s

This looks like a great time. I’d buy it just for the chance to explore that gorgeous looking world, but the combat looks fun as well.

Thank you - I was like “WTF”? You’ve got the holiday break and spring break. Perhaps a 4 or 5 day break for Thanksgiving. That’s $300 (or $500 if you count the trip to school at the beginning of the year and then home at the end, although I suspect neither of those are bus rides).  Borrowing $15k at 3.5% interest for

If you can afford a $15,000 - $20,000 car, you can afford a $100 bus ticket a few times/school year.

Ok thank you.  I read that and was like “uh, these things don’t go together. . .”

I can’t afford to pay for a $100 bus ticket every break.”

I fully concur - whenever I get a rental and plug my phone into the USB, the car tries to mate with my phone. Being unwilling to share the contents of my phone with some random rental, I always carry an AUX cable in my bag, so the only info passing between phone and rental is audio

We have several summer birthdays in our family and when it gets that hot we do a cook out, eat in.

It is not the job of the critic to force a creator to have an agenda. It is the choice of the creator to have one or not. This “all art is political” is post-modernist pseudo-Marxist drivel. Pac-Man did not have a political statement to make. Neither did Pong. Neither did Doom. Or Duke Nukem. Or Mortal Kombat. Or Tie
