We've already seen set photos showing that they've built a statue of him. I think that probably says it all.

I just assumed it's because they're idiots.
I would love to see Superman film where Clark doesn't really use his powers until the end but has to solve his problem like a reporter. Because he is a reporter. And sometimes you can't always punch your way our of a problem.
Anyone who likes Superman for who he is should loathe this picture. Hell, right now, Captain America has been a better Superman than Superman.
That's not really a great analogy. Perhaps a better one would be if SWAT blew up a house to kill a mass murderer before he could nuke the entire city.
As the story goes, there was one writer (don't feel like looking up which one) who, every year when they had the big meeting to coordinate the storylines across the various Superman titles, would always half-jokingly suggest "let's just kill him!" whenever there was a lull in the discussion. That year, it just so…
But this "this isn't Superman" hyperbole bullshit and nitpickyness is completely hipster. It's a bunch of people that want to be "smarter" and find shit to complain about. What it really boils down to is the film wasn't as funny and paint by numbers as the Marvel films and people don't have the ability to accept…
Snyder isn't being "subtle" here, he's being patently incorrect.
...It seems like there might be a problem with the cover image I posted showing up. Here's a link to the page I got it from as a backup. http://www.dcindexes.com/features/datab…
Beg to differ. He's often been depicted as brooding, especially in the beginning. Only when the Comics Code got a hold of him (and Batman!) did he become the boyscout.
The Kent family must love the shit outta that dog, huh?!
What a complete waste of good casting.
Oh man, I was born too freaking early. This would've been a dream come true when I was a kid (almost literally; I really did have a dream about being able to play with every Lego set there was). This in addition to all the licensed superhero Legos that they never had when I was a kid (forcing me to make very crude…
With the rejuvenated success of the X-Men brand (no thanks to two Wolverines) it seems like a verified fact that Bryan Singer has the ability to respect the source material of the comics better than other X-Directors and produce a quality film that will please the fanboys and more importantly please the stockholders…
It's a common perception because of that lothario quality about him, and occasionally it comes through, and usually in inappropriate times from a diplomatic or professionalism standpoint, which gives the distinct impression that he can't keep it in his pants.
At this point, Kevin Conroy is old enough that he could play Old Bruce in live-action convincingly.
This is sorely tempting, but I'd probably be a lot more tempted if the "small Meet & Greet" was more fully defined. If it's the kind of thing where you just get to say like two words to the celebrities, and then you're ushered away, that would not be worth $800 (plus travel and accommodation, don't forget). Let's be…
I've seen every Trek property repeatedly. Kirk was all those things you say (although I disagree to the level you make him sound like a scientist, because that was never his character's role) but he was also a renegade who was always willing to throw all the rules and logic and reason out the window and go with his…
I've seen more than half of these. Lars and the Real Girl is highly recommended.
You're welcome!
