Please don't stop, keep giving me more reasons to be really glad I didn't waste my money on this.

Hey, I didn't even like that it happened in the comics. Marc Webb killed Gwen only because it happened in the comics, and Gerry Conway (the very mediocre writer who the wrote the comics version) killed her mainly because he thought she was boring and didn't want to write her. People thought it was some kind of

If one of the other Spider-Women got on the list, then I think it's a pretty safe assumption that Marvel Studios wouldn't be able to use the name of Spider-Woman even if they did have the rights to Jessica Drew. That, I would have no trouble believing.

I think the funniest part is how they both "square up" like this is gonna be a proper bout of fisticuffs, and then with perfect comedic timing, both go straight into slapping and hair-pulling like any old cat-fight.

Well, I'm already having this discussion with someone else (I blame Kinja more than you for the fact that you didn't see that), but basically the thing I know is that the people making the list of what characters Sony got the rights to with Spider-Man might not have cared that the only thing she had in common with him

Ah, I see. Yeah, I could see that.

I did a little googling, and I can't find any definitive answer (I guess nobody cares enough about Spider-Woman to find out for sure), so I guess it probably just comes down to what the lawyers decided when they originally made the deal. I remember Kevin Feige speaking one time about some other character's rights

Oh yeah, I knew that, I was just kinda curious whether they bothered with any specific justification in that sequence. Or were you saying that its so ubiquitous that they don't even bother with the pretense of an explanation anymore? I guess that really wouldn't surprise me.

Funny story, when I started reading the first book, I thought it was a trilogy (there were only three out at the time, and I thought it was complete). So I pushed through the second and third books a lot faster than I usually read, because I really wanted to find out how the story ended, but then it didn't end. It

I don't know enough about either After Effects or old movies to make a judgment for myself, so I don't really have a dog in this fight. But if you are right that it's modern footage that was doctored, where would they have gotten the footage?

So, the big philosophical question then becomes, does that mean this footage is fake, or just that the aging filters in After Effects have gotten really accurate?

Patton Oswalt is on the press release cast list for the season finale.

I don't think they can at this point...he killed Hand and Koenig, I think he's too far gone.

I very much doubt that Marvel Studios has the rights to Spider-Woman.

You know that they are going to redeem Ward or reveal that he was a triple agent or whatever, right?

Despite the fact that a movie extra seems to indicate that the titular Sinister Six will be Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, the Rhino, the Vulture, Mysterio and Kraven...

I wonder what would happen if he died before completing the series (which is, unfortunately, a very real possibility). There would probably be an equal number of fans cursing his name for leaving them hanging as those who would mourn like normal people.

What is the justification for The Incredible Hulk happening the same time as Thor and Iron Man 2?

Still, I was pretty surprised they adapted the whole "Doom stealing the Surfer's power" storyline. That was a pretty long pull from a modern perspective, wasn't it?

Maybe something more like Ultimate Marvel's Gah Lak Tus,
