Synanthropic animals have no trouble. Urban centers should not be de-industrialized only to accommodate non-synanthropic animals that almost never enter urban centers anyways. Suburban sprawl is a much bigger problem if unadaptive wildlife is your first priority.

Not that turning a bridge’s lights off would significantly reduce anything, the alleviation to urban light pollution is not de-industrializing urban centers. Rather, it is those that suffer from pollution who need to relocate to rural areas.
