@Harrier: There's a couple whose avaliability varies based on the season. One particular Pokemon changes appearance every season. The music changes to fit the season, and daylight is affected by season. Those are the only changes, other than asthetics, that I'm aware of.

I think this music sums up what a different tone these games have from the previous ones.

@TopHatLayton: The sprites from HGSS are all in the game. I'm guessing it was just too much to animate the new Pokemon on top of all the animated battle sprites.
