I imagine it's because "PSP2" sounds inferior to "3DS". Smart move, really.

@Elratauru: the NGP is a lot bigger than the 3DS, so it may well be packing a bigger, badder battery.

@felixandrews: According to Eurogamer, they said they'll be taking a loss, which is an interesting risk to take after the PS3 if that's the case.

@p4w4rr10r: It sounds like more of a finanical decision than an actual design choice.

Can you imagine the rage that ensue if it eventually turned out to be double that price?

I want to know how hot the system gets.

Mewtwo.

@Sent Seven: Everyone needs to experience the joys of Tetris on the crapper.

@Kyle Brown: The key words being "were waiting".

@GiantBoyDetective: Even then, the 3DS will have been out for almost a year by the time this thing is released, which is only going to further widen the price gap.

@Alex McMillan: I highly doubt it, but perhaps a timed downloadable transfer might be a possibility.

@Justin Rieser: Yeah, the PS2 was obscenely expensive when it was initially released.

I guess they weren't kidding in the trailer...

That's a pretty device, although I imagine it won't come cheap.

While I'm all for tall buildings in London... Damn, that's a horrible location for the building.

I don't care what it does. All I care is whether it will have games that I want to play.
