Well this is hardly a revelation. Iwata's tone made it quite clear that it was literally just agreed upon. They did exactly the same thing with Brawl.

It's even more interesting that this new console is apparently "to be catered towards the Western market". Guess the demand really is dead there at the moment.
To be honest, I'd rather have some harmless old woman, stuck in a life of endless boring engagements, hold all the constitutional powers, rather than have a bunch of greedy, narcisstic, and manipulative politicians jockey for such a position.

You forgot "Manufacturing costs" too. I've heard the 3D cameras are particularly troublesome to assemble properly. I certainly recall Nintendo saying they had a lot of trouble with them.

Installed flawlessly and works flawless for me. Not that I've noticed any difference; which is good.
While I'm not going to buy anything written by the National Enquirer for a single second (especially when they're sinking so low) it does strike me that, sadly, the man is running out of time.
