Do you know what would be cool? Get the system to recognise heads, hands and bodies the way it does in the games, tell it to flip the projected shape it has recognised and fit it to the other side to create a full 3-d form, and have a system that runs content-aware fills on the shape's missing parts. Do the same for

If I hold a photo up to the camera, will I be able to twape you, then?

@ka1axy: WAAAAY less than half an iPhone. The power of the TCU from a 90's Volvo... But most of the math was done on slide-rules, not computers, and they're still considered to be the most complex thing we've ever constructed as a species, the Apollo and the Saturn V! ...I'd wager the LHC's taken that title now,

Anyone know if there's a company-wide lottery? That would be great.

I just need to slather it in ectoplasm and then it'll be REALLY spooky.

Dang. Believe it or not, I had actually pictured you as looking like Mexican Christ. I'm going to try my hardest to keep it that way, but stuff like this just makes maintaining my delightful misconceptions tricky, y'know?

The Moog guitar's more techie than that. Shizz's fluffed up, yo.

@♥♦ Goopplesoft ♣♠: I'm pretty sure that's Brad singing, the guy who made them. I've been subscribed to him on YT for a while now - go search for "octapult."

I want to see it handle rotation.

@yossarian: I'm guessing they're just trying to keep up with the weird "one new chopper per year" thing, and that this concept, like many concept cars, is only to show what it might be like, not how it would perform. Why do you think they only show it flying a couple of meters?

I like how condensationy it gets in there. Screw Alcatraz, chain inmates up in these.

Look at the tail as it flies, watch the torsional flex created by the side-pods' vibrations and their rotors' interactions with the main rotor's airstream. That fuselage is not intended to experience those forces and it needs to be stiffened.

How long until some extreme gentleman "drops in" on it? That would be "badical."

Dmitri Martin-lookin' motherpucker.
