Say, how does he reach the pedals?

A friend of mine put DEF in his diesel tank, but realized it before he started the truck. Disconnected the fuel line, hotwired the pump, and dumped it out into 5-gallon buckets... and this was back when diesel was over $4 a gallon, naturally.

Jet’s is pretty good. Sadly two of the three locations in central Florida have closed because of the Covid, leaving only (conveniently for me) the closest one to my house.
We used to have a place over near Sea World called Singing Sam’s that was *to die for,* but they got bought out and now their pizza is just sad. :(

At 220,000 miles it’s probably something simple, like the clockspring. Doubly so since he said the horn doesn’t work. That’s as simple as popping off the airbag, removing the steering wheel, and replacing the clockspring module. The last one I did on an ‘05 Town Car cost me $45, and it took me longer to figure out how

There was nothing good about the Challenger disaster, but it did happen on the day that L. Ron Hubbard died and it blew that useless, evil, rat bastard’s obituary off the front page and that, at least, wasn’t bad.”

They were a company that made o-rings. So NASA’s subcontractor Thiokol bought o-rings from them. It’s not like they had some engineer fly from Houston to Salt Lake City and knock on the door with a briefcase full of SRB plans.

Brazil is in Africa?

You bought a floor jack rated for 400lbs? Is it a toy?

I never tire of reading that.

He took the same calculus and diff eq as any other engineer...not that this is particularly complex math. What does his experience have to do with basic geometry and vectors?

Uhh, the state rejected the review engineer’s application to perform licensed engineering work. The corrupt Miami-Dade officials let it slide.

So does anybody make a kit to swap the entire dash and wiring harness (and as a Floridaman, the air-conditioned seats) from an uplevel ‘15+ Charger into the Magnum? Because I’d be, like, super into that.

Pulling fuses is not a “normal” thing anywhere. There’s no need for clean UX or any other bullshit because they’re fuses and unless something goes physically wrong, nobody is even thinking about them. Wiring a kill switch has nothing to do with them, either. You interrupt the voltage coming out of the alternator and

Yes. Lots of times. It’s a brief shock when you go “holy shit, I lost power assist and this is really hard” and then you use your brain and signal your muscles to press harder or turn harder. It’s not like you have to get out and manhandle the tire to get the wheels to turn.

That works great when the wiring harness isn’t on fire and actively shorting out.

Obviously, it’s because those pesky brown people are the only ones trying to cremate abuela in the backyard trash pit...

I wear a 14EEE and they’re pretty much the only ones making shoes in that size at anything approaching “affordable.”

I would have liked to have seen... Montana.

I dunno, a whole lot of those seem like they held up pretty well. The few that were seriously fucked...who knows what they hit or how fast.

They’re not “cut away, they’re as-delivered from the OEM.
