Yeah the adjustment period can be tough. For a while after we brought my Sophie home from shelter, if there was another woman around, she would pee on my husband’s feet. That, fortunately, did not last. She does still like to sit on our feet, which kinda grosses me out.
My tuxedo dog (black Lab mix) gives Mila a big high-five back!
I absolutely support a person’s right to say no. No unwanted attention, no unwanted touching. Ever.
I guess the world is heading for WW3 one way or another.
Amal > Beyonce
Perhaps my outrage meter is improperly calibrated. I thought the joke was that Amal is an amazing super hero and she handled the birth like a champ and George - not a strong amazing woman - is a basket case.
Sadly she died yesterday about an hour before the vet came. I’ve been bingeing sit coms all day to keep my mind off how lonely and sad I am. I really appreciate you asking.
I so needed to read this today. I’m that person. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve told a joke in the middle of a conversation that was not well received and I worried all day if those people were offended, or they didn’t like me anymore, etc. It’s exhausting picking at every little thing. The underlying sentiment of what he’s saying is completely right on—and he says it arguably in stronger terms than those quoted here. However, as right as he generally is, I don’t think he’s right that it’s obscene that the bulk of the money went to the families of those murdered or nearly murdered (i.e., the people…
I mean hate the Kardashians all you want, and certainly hate the culture that allowed them to become a thing, but honestly they have kind of worked to monetize their identities and they have been fairly savvy and diligent about it. I feel like they are unfairly maligned for exploiting our own cultural failings and…
Scott Disick is a really sad figure who I am oddly invested in. I’ll admit I have seen every episode of KUWTK. When I was going through my divorce I could only handle cheesy reality TV or very dark dramas... Go figure.
I suspect he thinks it’s in Africa, for reasons I don’t feel it’s appropriate to elaborate upon.
