I mean hate the Kardashians all you want, and certainly hate the culture that allowed them to become a thing, but honestly they have kind of worked to monetize their identities and they have been fairly savvy and diligent about it. I feel like they are unfairly maligned for exploiting our own cultural failings and

Scott Disick is a really sad figure who I am oddly invested in. I’ll admit I have seen every episode of KUWTK. When I was going through my divorce I could only handle cheesy reality TV or very dark dramas... Go figure.

I suspect he thinks it’s in Africa, for reasons I don’t feel it’s appropriate to elaborate upon.

I’m sure that this episode was probably filmed before 5pm ET last night. Drawing a parallel like that, in this situation, to insult someone or make them seem petty is pretty fucked up.

That’s not really fair. As goddamn stupid as this is, it was taped before Manchester. It’s not like Katy interrupted a live broadcast of the events last night to be all “but wait, my dancers.”

But that’s how employment works. There’s no guarantee that your employee will stick around forever, and I would guess that in the entertainment/dance world, you come to expect that people leave productions for other jobs.

It takes a very special type of coward to volunteer to blow up kids. I cannot even imagine the beyond fucked up mindsets that did this. Fuck them, fuck all of them that were involved.

Until a dedicated post about the incident in Manchester goes up; a note about fast breaking news - especially since trolls are already putting fake missing people reports into the social media news stream:

I’m only sad that the elephant that killed him died.

Good.

I agree, there was the time someone in a comment section of some site accused a musician of rape. Jez believed it ran multi articles on it to find out she was lying. U can support the victim without attacking the alleged perp. But, people seem not to get that.

I don’t understand why “innocence until proven guilty” gets completely over-ridden because of statistics.

I mean, that depends.

What bothers me about this is how quickly and totally they were unpersoned after three pretty vague and anonymous allegations came out. They were dropped from their management, label, and spotify within hours of the accusations being made. And the accusations amount to Ben is kind of skeezy and they either date raped

The accused here doesn’t stand a chance. If he’s a rapist, he deserves to have his life turned upside down. But we can’t know. Not really. Once this accusation has been made, we have been instructed to believe it no matter what, and to analyze the living hell out of everything the accused says in his own defense so as

A little curious that, on Jezebel, you don’t take a person’s word for their gender and sexuality and make a quick conclusion based on a sample of 1 (willing or unwilling) sexual partner.

Especially if you’re setting the thing in 1960's America. I hate when people decide their play/movie/whatever is a historical piece, but in a history just slightly alternate to our own, where the early 20th centry had no race issues and everyone got along wonderfully. Where nobody would even give a black man married

I honestly don’t know if I should feel upset about this. I kinda get the reasoning, even if I think the end result sucks. If the character being white is part of the story, you can’t really change that, can you? I’m... I’d really like to read a Trump article right now. Those are way easier to form an opinion on.

All of the stars for you!!!!! I hate this hustler mentality that as long as women are making money, it’s empowering!!! And feminist!!! GTFO with that nonsense.
