Having lived both in Boston and Vermont, I think having a House and Senate with different representational systems is good.  The problem, from my point of view, is that the balance has gotten way off since the House was capped.  

While we’re on the subject of the house and its idiosyncrasies , isn’t it absurd - like pants on head, socks on hands absurd - that our reps represent ~700k people each  with 435 reps in the house?
