It should react to the break check, and slow down, then just keep going. It’s great in stop and go traffic.

I just tap the break to take it out, I find that is the fastest way to disengage.

Yeah that has been my experience with my M3. Its been pretty sweet for the year or so I have had it.

Sweet!  I had no idea I could do this in my M3, I only look at the games when showing someone the car for the first time, and being like, look, it farts and has Netflix and a bunch of games too!

Good luck, my only recommendation is once you think you got getting into first from a stop down pat, find some crappy back road or parking lot on a hill, and start practicing how to get the car into gear on a slanted road without stalling out. Once you get that down, you are good as gold.

Best car buying experience I have ever had, was buying a Tesla, worst part of it was that I had to drive to NY to pick it up, because the Car Dealership Lobby has been blocking my ability to buy one in CT.

Why would you get Tesla’s banned from the road? If you do that, you would have to ban just about every car with driver assist, and that is a huge percentage of new cars sold over the last few years.
