I got my luddite Mom a Paperwhite for Xmas - her first electronic anything - and she utterly loves it! I myself covet it, and plan to get my own.

The exact same reason I didn't like it. I don't want the extra clicks.

If you use Evernotes Clearly extension, you can just ditch the Web Clipper. Clearly is one those simple little things that "just works"

I'm thinking custom car dock, too. I can't find a decent dock for my Samsung Note that fits well in my car - so, this might just be the ticket!

What you mention about room for controls makes good sense.

Thanks! Honestly, I don't know until someone tells me - Like you - so, thank you! But, I did read that from the guy at LG. If I could find the article, I'm sure there were some details that I don't recall, that you've filled in.

16:9 is actual widescreen - like a theater screen. 16:10 monitors were reportedly made because it was believed that American consumers wee accustom to square televisions, so they would go for more square monitors. I read this in an article a few years ago that interviewed some guy with LG about their products.

Does the Transformer Pad have any issues like the Prime did with the wifi? If not, I'd choose it for the detachable keyboard w/ battery. Otherwise, Nexus 10 for pure Android experience.

Thats a good tip. I didn't know to think of steam vs. shampoo.

Is it better to rent the machine, buy the chemicals, and perform the labor - or, to simply pay a company like Stanley Steamer?

There is the potable water type PVC. I believe it's black.

When I initially install an OS, I first get everything set-up and tweaked in the OS, without anything beyond Firewall, virus scanner, and the basic app set I always install first. I then use Acronis True Image to make a complete backup to another drive.

Installed!

Vista was the face tattoo Microsoft got after a weekend in Vegas. Why haven't you upgraded to the very impressive Windows 7. Get 64-bit, if you upgrade.

Ditto - I'd like to see a benchmark on that. And on Windows 7 64-bit. If you really want to speed things up - 64-bit is the way to go. It addresses much more ram. I never here anyone mention this.

Does it just post a link back over to G+?

Unfortunately, I'm not so engaged with Facebook, that I know anyone who is already a member of Turntable.fm. I'm already losing interest in it. Besides that, when I go to their site, all I get now is a blank black screen. After they checked that my contacts weren't qualifying, I'm apparently not good enough for a

Thanks for clarifying. I wasn't sure if something wasn't rendering in my browser.
