Please read the article properly it states that the connector is now proprietary and your computer won't pass the apple hardware test(maybe it'll with the first drive in place) and one more thing the fans run at full speed if you don't have the first drive, which wont be there when it fails!!!!

that also includes the data plan and if i remember correctly the rumor about this plan when first came out also told of hardware upgrades being included in the cost so i think its really good.
