It’s not like you can take that solar array with you while driving, is the point. It’s an electric car. You just happen to get the electricity to charge it from solar panels.

I do like the name, I agree.
Yeah, big time. The thing that bugs me is that Arai does offer a helmet that makes FIM status off the shelf (Albeit at double the cost), so the fact this one apparently doesn’t make any standard other than DOT is sending alarm bells off like crazy.
There’s debate whether SNELL is better than ECE - I personally consider the former safer than the latter, but it depends on what you think is more important.
Hard disagree. The best gear is the gear you don’t notice. It ranges from irrelevant at best, to distracting at worse. Gear is just the deal with devil in order to enjoy riding safely.
Yeah, that was kinda weird to me too. The lakes where you can access dams here have huge posts with nets well in advance of the dam mouth. Even if you fell overboard, you still wont end up over the edge.
Why weren’t they wearing them in the first place? That’s safety step number one when boating in quickly moving water (Such as say, near a dam).
I don’t know what your country is like, but there are literally hundreds of unions here in Canada (Almost a thousand, in fact), and we’re a comparatively small population, so I’d expect even more exist in your country: Hearing about even a dozen of them being corrupt means little, we’re talking about one or two…
As someone who rides an SV: Can confirm.
I’m 100% the opposite. I’m just tall enough (6'2") that some bikes feel awkward, but then I’ve got a pretty long torso, short legs. It does make finding a proper bike an interested experience.
I mean, sure, my SV650X isn’t on there either, but come on... Besides, generally speaking, the majority of bikes sit similarly within their class (Naked, Cruiser, Dual Sport, Touring, etc), and all the classes are represented on the site.
Yeah, the width part would’ve been awesome (The SV650 and MT-07 look the same on the site, whereas in real life, it’s a hell of a lot easier to get comfy on an SV650), but even still, that’s an awesome page. I’ve got it bookmarked now.
We’ll revise that issue in version 2. For now, just lean back and pray.
Oh yeah, my one was the fuel injected one. The motor went to 180,000KM before an NGK spark plug decided to puke its electrode at high speed, which proceeded to obliterate cylinder 4.
Canada: *Exists*
Why? One bad example doesn’t suddenly mean the statement is automatically false. Dogs are inherently good; My one dog was an aggressive a-hole. Doesn’t mean the statement magically changed from true to false due to an outlier.
I would be OK with letting cruise ships exist, provided they:
Where I live (And across basically the whole country) insurance goes by displacement first, value second. As a point of comparison, my 2018 SV650 is more expensive to insure than a brand new top-of-the-line SR/S Premium, and noticeably so at that.
Yep, I’ve been part of some bad unions before (Some corrupt, some overprotective), and it always saddens me to see them cheapen what is an extremely important ideal.
...I see absolutely nothing misleading or clickbait-y about the title. It’s a statement of objective fact.
