It’s funny, my wife and I had this discussion a while ago. She said she approaches jobs like she’s thankful they’ll pay her; I told her I work knowing the business should be thankful I’ll earn them money. Just different outlooks I guess.

Agreed fully. I think most people are broken though. I’ve always said, the moment I get to $2.1M you’ll never see me work another day in my life, since the 5% yields I can get from REITs mean I’ll make $100K a year to do sweet f-all. But somehow that isn’t enough for a lot of people.
Big time. What’s weird is that rather than branching out, and looking at other countries, historical examples or anything else to fill in the gaps, they went with... This. Author and editor should both feel shame for even putting this up.
Yeah, this was embarrassing to read, I can’t believe they actually posted this nonsense.
Agreed. I hate to back up modern-Nintendo on anything anymore, but this was just asking to get sued.
Genuinely feel zero sympathy for him.
Always makes me laugh whenever I see the baby on board stickers.
What about an electric would make this car better, in your eyes? Because to me, the tradeoffs of...
Right? They make such beautiful machines. Never understood why more car companies didn’t aim for the aesthetics of the 30s to 50s.
Right?
The last point... Thank you. I’m not increasing my prices one penny, despite the inventory shortage, but I’m sure as hell not cutting deals. People are throwing huge fits because I’m not negotiating, but I’ve got like, one or two of each bike left: Why in the hell would I negotiate?
They already said: Lifetime ban on flying.
I don’t wish to sound rude, but I’m ecstatic I don’t live in your country. =|
Jaysus. That’s nuts.
All good, no worries!
What are you riding that doesn’t get 30MPG, a VMax/Rocket 3/M109R?
On my bikes? No. Even riding like a moron I’m still getting 60MPG on the one and 85MPG on the other.
Obviously it looks absolutely terrible in the draft photos, but the concept makes sense to me. And hell, you could easily blend this in to the aesthetic of certain bikes (Looking at you, Cruisers, Tourers and Adventure bikes).
Oh, those have been around for a while now. You don’t get engulfed in a giant ball, they just dramatically increase the cushioning effect of your armour, and they tend to lock your neck so you don’t break it.
Eh, I’d still argue it’s a motorcycle. I still have to lean and countersteer to turn. I still have no insulation or wind protection. I still have to wear my kit. It’s just an additional safety measure.
