Oof, that Chief should feel embarrassed by this. The Jeep doesn’t play in to any aboriginal stereotypes, doesn’t have any negative connotations to the Cherokee people or anything else, it’s literally just a name.

I can’t believe you’d recommend Jeep profit off the name of Mexico and her people.
Yeah, big time. Some of the writers on GMG are pretty close-minded though: You’re either on this side of the debate, or you’re wrong.
Fair enough, that likely confused things more than it helped. I was just trying to avoid using decimals on metres. I’m lazy. Instead now I’ve typed out multiple sentences explaining where I went wrong, instead of having just typed out 1.3 metres in the first place.
Nope, all the trucks are assembled within the same plants, across all lines. Though I should specify - I can’t speak to other brands, but with Fords, the few colour options on the Limited aren’t restricted options from other lines, they’re four bespoke colours exclusive to the Limited (Or at least, they were when I…
Clearly you’ve never been stuck behind a confused Camry driver.
Trucks signal was already on in the starting frame (And about to dim, meaning it was on even before). One second is a long ass time to react, even if that was literally the first moment they indicated.
The signal is on quite literally from the opening frame (In fact, given that it dims almost immediately after, we know it was on for a little bit before the start at the absolute minimum). Truck starts turning about half a second after, but doesn’t even cross the line until a second in (It’s a slow turn). Again, there…
Thanks!
lol
Really? It’s super common for adventure riders to do.
It’s worth noting - the patch didn’t fail at 103 pounds, the tool itself did.
I’ve also seen folks not realize those cameras are slightly delayed too. Watched a modern Audi almost smoke me on Monday because he booted it in reverse. The camera isn’t real time dude, it’s about two tenths behind. You’ll hit me before the camera catches up. Nailed the horn before he got me, and he seemed almost…
I feel like an easier solution to all this is bush bars and tubular rear bumpers.
Yup. One obvious solution would be size. There’s multiple sensors on a bumper. If the system sees something small, ignore it. If the system sees something wider than four feet, it activates.
Oh god no, Ford would laugh and tell us to pound sand. Ford produces and sells millions of trucks a year. They’re not going to create, register and assemble a one-off truck just because some dealer asks them. It would definitely be an aftermarket solution.
Yuuuuuuup. If this is an unforeseen, life-saving action for you, that’s a very, very bad sign.
As mentioned both in the article, and well as visible in the video, the truck signals long in advance. You’d have to have the reaction time of a rock to not notice it was intended on changing lanes. The system (And apparently the driver) just didn’t seem to notice, or care. Neither of which are particularly inspiring.
Definitely doesn’t fluctuate that much. Yes, trucks make more money, but that has less to do with gross or net margins changing, and more to do with the fact they’re naturally more expensive vehicles. 2.2% on a $90K truck is worth a hell of a lot more than 2.2% on a $20K Focus.
Totally reasonable - none of us were there, so proclaiming guilt or innocence would literally just be based on feelings. My statement is exclusively about the blood test bordering on worthless. It’s an exceptionally common tactic to evade DUIs when the person knows they’re guilty.
