I have a question about track days in general, not just Ferrari ones. Why are they always SO FUCKING EARLY in the day? Is it a precondition for being a good track driver that you be an early person? Getting up at 5:30am is the worst part of my track day weekends. The rest of the day I’m all groggy and unfocused except…
I don't think so, which is why I passed. If you push button start and little toggle switches, then go for it. It does add a little bit of flair inside, so you probably won't miss the money spent. I got mine as basic as possible.
Man it must suck to be super rich and have the uh... hassle of following these rules at a track.
Man, coasted through a department store? That’s hardcore.
Auto enthusiasts don’t make good financial purchasing decisions. That’s why it’s a hobby. That’s why we spend a perfectly-good afternoon wrenching underneath the car, or sweating it out at a track. That’s also why we don’t all just buy a 4-cyl grocery-getter.
what about the market for a sporty, RWD, stick, coupe cars with a back seat, and an aftermarket-replaceable radio? i won’t accept anything that is old enough to rot out.
LS1 swap!
Unused? right, because that wasn’t stipulated.
Yeah but even a beat up 458 will be more fun than a Civic. The good thing about the rental is that you can just laugh at the check engine light and just do burnouts until you have to give it back.
...and it would probably be more reliable.
I wonder if this pic is actually a z06.. Didn’t they have aluminum frames?
This is what happens whe MBAs run a business see also GM.
two things. We got cheated out of some darwin awards and Europe has tiny ass trains
If someone did that to mine without good reason... Well, ever have a Dually shoved up your ass?
Team Corvette. Fuck that truck guy in the ear, and everyone else who let it happen.
That’s assuming you’re starting with a forced induction car...
