What was wrong with the Ruth/Sam kiss? I didn’t find it particularly weird or “not good” than any other screen kiss. Some are objectively worse.

Same! They’re the opposite of an eyeroll for me. I also kinda think the creators like them too. If they wanted a Don/Peggy kinda relationship between them, I don’t think we’d be rooting for them at this point of the series...they would’ve quashed that notion out earlier on.
Same, I actually thought this episode was alot stronger than the others, even without Mad Sweeney and Laura in it and who I think have the most interesting plotline. There’s still too much talking in the episodes, I think, and that does drag the pace down, especially when they’re talking portentously, but I really…
I’d also feel like Show Shadow and Show Audrey would have better chemistry together than he with Laura, who has better chemistry with Sweeney. Ok, wow, I haven’t been reminded that quadrangles exist since LOST.
Also, to my knowledge, she was given several warnings by Disney to tone her shit down, and she didn’t. By comparison, Gunn’s last offensive tweets date back to 2013, which was prior to being hired by Disney.
He was planning on making horror films as his film career, which kinda explains the shlocky, gross tweets. And I imagine horror films in the vein of B-movie type stuff...stuff that Tarantino or Rob Zombie might endorse.
Me too!
A friend and I have to decide what to watch *before* I go over to her place for movie night...because every time we try to decide on the fly, we end up spending a good hour to hour-and-a-half trying to decide what to watch. Before you know it, it’s almost midnight, and I end up going to bed at like 3am.
Can we not? It was a bad show, end of story.
