I had thought the same thing as you about the first couple of lines of Crying, but now I've looked up the lyrics and I think most of the lyrics fits in with the love story between mother and son, and the crescendo at the end fits with what we were seeing on our screens. But anyway, of all those songs including the

I wrote this before… I'm sorry, can't see that msg anywhere, but how did Sam know Marion's room was room 1? It's not like the door was left open (which by the way, was left conveniently unlocked) and Marion didn't tell Sam she was in room 1 this episode. I'm not sure if she told him last week's episode, though I think

They weren't trying to. They said as much:)

I'm not thrilled with the idea either, but because to me it makes Norman less sympathetic of a character when he's killing as Norman and not Norma.

Have you seen the last episode? I don't want to spoil anything if you haven't seen it yet. But yeah, sometimes it's enough to make us crazy lol

Yes I think it's very possible. It'll be hard for Chick to observe Norman and finish his book when Norman told him he couldn't live at that house anymore, but Norman later asked Chick for help and Chick said he may be able to help him, so there's hope. Book might have a different title but similar story.

Hey, thank you for a great breakdown of ethical boundaries that he crossed. I had heard about this phenomenon of transference and totally forgot about that.

Looks like it could be. If so, I hope that means Dylan will survive and Emma stays safe at home in Seattle. I suppose I shouldn't hold my breath, but one can hope.

Lol the "level of boobage." I thought that was for the purpose of making the Norman character inevitably attracted to her and teasing viewers that she's probably going to die in the shower, and then pulling that twist.

Thank you everyone for the reviews of Dexter, more interesting coming from Bates Motel fans:) I feel like I don't ever have to spend any time watching the show now:)

Great catch, RedScarab! I believe the producers said they had some plans from the beginning in mind for season 5. They didn't plan certain major plot lines like the Romero-Norma relationship until after series started, but they had a plan in mind for season 5, so I think it very well could have been the plan all

I also hope it doesn't go in a Dexter direction. Norman to me or at least the movie has been more about Norma/n committing the murders when Norma feels threatened, like when Norman gets too close to a woman, not about Norman murdering for revenge or vigilante justice. It doesn't really matter to me that Marion got

I haven't seen Dexter, though I read about the premise of the show and would agree on the trepidation about the Norma/n murders being Dexter-esque.

Best show on earth! There should be viewing parties everywhere:)

Yay Marion, demolish that car! lol.
I had to laugh when soon after, Sam turned around and Madeline splashed him with a drink. He literally got it from both sides LOL.

I liked that part as showing Norman fighting against himself/Mother part of himself and what would have been another grisly death. It makes it all the more sad and poignant when the murderous psyche emerged. But yeah Sam was scum.

I was just imagining what the bartender was thinking as Norman was saying that, knowing this particular customer came in earlier as Norma.

Thank you so much for responding. I wasn't sure if anyone was still checking for msgs. Yeah I would think there's some ethical rule or guideline advising against psychiatrists and therapists having a discussion like they did. I don't know if the writers just had them in that public type of setting for convenience

Could be. I'm happy to see Dr. Edwards back however they can fit him in.

How sweet. Norma wanted to fix up the house — or at least just the basement last season. She thought they had no money for it but Romero told her they do… 'course she sadly never got much of a chance to fix it up.
