To me, it seemed this version of Norma in Norman's mind is more overbearing than the live Norma was, like he's created a life for themselves in his mind that's more secluded so that he won't ever lose Norma again.

That's interesting.
Norman and Norma being in that boat in the lake after covering up their crime reminded me of the first season (I think it was the first episode when they did the same thing). Norman seemed so jaded when they were talking about what to do with the body. "Well, It's not like we haven't done this…
It might be when they were about to exit the time capsule and see a Nazi soldier instead? Then Wyatt shoots him before the Nazi shoots toward them while Lucy's in harm's way. I would watch it again to make sure, but I don't have the recording.
FWIW, I watched the afterbuzz Bates Motel after show, and one of them said that next season, one of the things the producers/writers are going to explore is what could not be shown in the movie back in the day, things that in the '60s, "they couldn't have done, but now they can."
I was just reading an excerpt from Psycho today, and the sheriff's name in Psycho was Chambers, same name as the Oregon state detective that Molly Price plays in Bates Motel. Another nod to the movie. Freddy Highmore gave an interview where he and I think some writers went to see the movie again before shooting the…
I thought I responded earlier but it looks like post didn't go through.
I've never watched Shameless. Is that a good show? I just liked her on Third Watch.
I suppose that's possible. Or .. I don't know, Norman thinks Norma wants everyone else to believe she's dead meanwhile keeping their secret of her being "alive" to themselves. Because as Norman believes, they are both worn down now after moving to this town.
Yes his eyes glanced towards her direction, and the producers said he knows as well. I do think Chick will be back next season, if for nothing else than to tell Dylan that Norma died so that Caleb will be compelled to return and Chick can then get his revenge.
It looks like Steven Spielberg is producing a movie based on the story :o
Yeah I'm sure it's happened before. It was just such a coincidence that I was reading here and they started talking about it on TV at that moment.
Wow, right now as I'm reading comments, on The Doctors show they are talking about a motel owner who was a peeping tom, watching, through vents, people have sex. A real-life, kind-of-like Norman person… (well, not really).
Just found it. Third Watch. That was a good series. Molly Price played a cop and then eventually a detective in that show. I think she'll be back next season, and Dr. Edwards too, at least for a little bit.
Perhaps only a couple of days have passed since Norma's death. Norman had agreed to see Dr. Edwards only three times a week. So I think we should see Dr. Edwards next season. However, the producers are not sure about including him much in the show next season.
Yes that was creepy seeing Norma's glued-open eyes, open so wide. I'm glad we won't have to see much of her wide-open eyes next season, at least that's what I believe. We'll see her more in hallucinations instead.
Yes it was sad episode. I really felt Norma's absence too.
I must have read a different article where the producers gave an interview. They talked about Romero, and I believe it said Romero will [continue to] try to get revenge on Norman while dealing with his own problems, obstacles. I believe Romero will be alive for a while next season. But yeah I think Norman likely…
I'm not sure why Norman chose to get rid of his medication at the moment that he did. Was it just out of hopelessness? It was right after he asked, "What do I have to do, Mother?" It made me wonder if he did it in order to be able to see his mother telling him what to do. At that time, I think he hadn't yet…
Dylan moved too far away to read about it in the local paper like Chick probably did (in addition to changing his number like others said).
Depending on state law, since the house and motel were acquired by Norma before the marriage, Norman and Alex may have to share since Norman is not Alex's child.
