I'd be interested to find out if the showrunners had planned from the beginning on this particular use of the ever-present necklace, or if they took advantage post-hoc of a bit of character-consistent costuming. I'm impressed either way!

spine & skull nut-kicked out through the top of the head…
I've seen my share of horror/action flicks, but that's a new (and infinitely cool) one for me!

A possible defense for Cirie not knowing all of the terms (regardless of font size or paragraph placement) of the advantage - maybe she just never had the time and privacy to actually break out the parchment & envelope and then read it?
Of course with the edit we were shown we'll never know…

I think Sarah giving Cirie the advantage was not baffling, from Sarah's perspective that is. Sarah read the conditions of the advantage so she knew that she could never lose ownership of that advantage (no matter where it happened to be physically located).
What I did find baffling was why Sarah thought that giving

it took me waaaay too long just now to figure out that you weren't saying that shock causes spinal cord injuries

nice catch

I was unreasonably psyched when the DMV scenes in "Patriot" were actually shot at a real Chicago DMV (I knew this because I've been to that DMV building far too many times)

I think Bast was just doing what all cats are compelled to do whenever there is something next to an edge that can be swatted off of that edge

YES - should've made an actual strategic use of the reveal, as opposed to just hoping that (supposedly) incurred gratitude would lead to loyalty

"It's when you poop your butt."

logistics question: since Daisy is blasting the molten iron/rock/whatsis to keep it off of the portal, how does anyone get down to the portal without themselves getting Quake-blasted?

I'm hoping you're right in that it's a deliberate move by the writers - kindof like the course of this episode, sending us in one emotional direction so that when the reversal hits it's even more of a doozy
however, the bad taste strategy only works if the show successfully pulls off a reverse or resolution of the

best use of a stolen vote would totally be using it to boot the person from whom you stole it (added benefit being it wouldn't matter if they're pissed at you)

not to overstep my bounds, but I think what you meant to say there was, it really is lovely when a manic-batshit-delusional self-aggrandizing cheesegrater-of-a-personailty is blindsided

seeing as he still has the cat, think Krieger brought over the hell-hounds too?

I don't think it has been, but this sounds like a line straight out of "Archer"

For all of Todd being so kind & sweet, I definitely would NOT want to get punched (or clotheslined) by him - Mel Rodriguez looked genuinely scary when he had Tandy pinned & was winding up to piledrive his face.
but Breakin' Todd 2 (Electric Boogaloo) is just the _best_ Todd!

yes, kudos to some fantastic costuming & production design, but Tandy's face on top of that wobbly turkey neck was just disturbing and I really wish I had never seen that

Sockpuppet sez above in the comments that it's a version of "the Best Day Of My Life"
